The service

BillProof reads a medical bill or EOB and provides an informational, on-device estimate of charges worth questioning, plain-English explanations, cited billing rights, and optional dispute-letter drafts. BillProof is not a lawyer, doctor, insurer, or financial adviser. It provides information, not legal, medical, or financial advice. Always verify with your provider or insurer and consult a qualified professional before acting.

Subscriptions and purchases

BillProof offers auto-renewing subscriptions and a one-time Lifetime unlock, sold through the App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in your Apple account settings; the unlock remains active until the end of the paid period. A free tier is available with no account required. Restore Purchases is supported for the Lifetime unlock and subscriptions.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or use it to defraud a provider or insurer. Estimates are conservative on-device calculations and may be wrong; you are responsible for verifying any figure before disputing a bill.

Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. BillProof and KeenShift are not liable for outcomes of disputes, billing decisions, or amounts recovered or not recovered.
